Good afternoon, Phydeaux Speaks.
Indeed, no audio is in this video. It's part of my occasional, minimalist approach to politically and socially expressive art.
Actually, truth be told, I put in a narration of my own, but I found that the video came off better without it. That, of course, might have been because I have a wretchedly annoying voice, which isn't a bad thing, considering it means I qualify for lead singer in any popular Heavy Metal band.
The Dark Wraith will, however, avoid that change of career paths for the present.

The Dark Wraiths Will pound your ears into BLOODY SUBMISSION!!1!1!!
"They were great 'til about '98, when they started that god-awful 'Riverdance Moshing'. I got all their CDs."

Good afternoon, DW, und der Woofman.
I think I grokked the gist of the vid just fine, though I quit waiting for sound @10 seconds in, having seen similar productions from previous Dark Wraith endeavors. I likey! Those scary boobs(not the inanimate ones) will come into play shortly, I presume...broad brush strokes of 'executive privilege' needs a firm hand when deciding color schemes. I hear they may lean towards Fascist Fuscia.
Wrote Father Tyme:
Is it a coincidence that The Lady Justice exposed boob is on her LEFT?
Wrote Dark Wraith:
Actually, Father Tyme, it's her right one that's traditionally presented. I deliberately constructed the image to present the reverse in an effort to provide balance to all the Right-wing examples I presented.
The Dark Wraith honestly thought no one would notice anything about the imaging symbolism.
Wrote Dark Wraith:
Good evening, trog.
Yes, it is entirely a matter of poetic justice that those same Democrats who cowered from the very idea of filibustering Alito's and/or Roberts' nominations will now go, hat in hand, to this Supreme Court for rulings on the matters of executive privilege.
Marry the Right in haste, suffer the consequences at leisure.
The Dark Wraith finds it rather humorous... in a black comedy sort of way.
Wrote Labrys:
Ahem. Well, if Mr. Ashcroft had aught to say about it, there would be NO exposed boobs....either to left or the right. I find myself fantasizing about the justices in your video MEETING Lady Justice....in the way the pirates in the third epic of Johnny Depp in eye liner meet the Goddess Calypso.
But then, sleep deprivation puts me in a susceptible to fantasy frame of mind!

The only positive note about any of it is that as of July 23 both Scalia & Kennedy will be 71 and thus somewhat more likely to retire (for health reasons) during the next, hopefully, Democratic presidency......

oddjob,
There may be a lot of surer things in life but Scalia and Kennedy retiring just isn't one of them. Short of something physical, only Pat Robertson's 'gawd calling them home' will take care of the situation.
I said over at Blondesense that it's incredible to me that these 5 have done more to change the law so quicklyin 6 years than the other courts have in over 40.
If anyone thinks that there's not a concerted partisan, biased effort by the right to destroy what the previous courts have wrought, I have some land in Florida to sell them.
It's mind bogling that everything that was fought for so hard since the 50s has just been so carelessly and hurriedly pushed aside in such a short time.
It belies the conservative approach to taking time to think things out. By these idiot's standards, the previous courts were extremely conservative.
Maybe the Flying Spaghetti Monster will do something at the last moment to save the Republic.
Wrote Father Tyme:
DW,
Oh, and nice stop frame on the image of Tony Dei. The added "o" would have been better left off but you would have been a bad boy to do it!
Wrote Lynn at Zelleweb:
1.Depp in eyeliner was NOT a bad thing. If only he kept his mouth shut. And it was way hotter than Wonka.
2. I would have added a montage of the various pictures of Scalia flipping the bird at people. It just seems..soooo...Pomp.
3. I never noticed an annoying voice, seems pleasant enough. But let your readers hear a sample anyway so we might be "scientifical" about this. Can you sing any Pantera?
4. Lady justice should bare both breasts, because she knows that we women are subjected to a ridiculous double standard.
Wrote Nvisiblewmn:
Can't somebody put a curtain over those boobs???
Wrote Nvisiblewmn:
Oh, and thanks for the recommendation I'm not worthy!). And thanks for saying the cat is gorgeous because most peops tell me he's sort of ugly, and that hurts my feelings a bit.

That's because these particular agenda items have been on the social conservative agenda since the very moments the Warren Court first decided them. Social conservatives only care about making sure society never changes in ways they find uncomfortable. They have no interest in long careful reasoning. If it was up to them slavery would never have been abolished in the way we did it.
