A beautiful Christmas greeting, dear friend Wraith.
Thank you for the pleasure of being in your company.
And thank you for your guidance in our journeys.
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.
Good morning, Mr Wraith.
Thank you, sir, for your great kindness.
And right timely, I would say.

Seasons greetings to you, friend. May this New Year bring some healing to our national psyche, as The Decider was wont to call it, and to the world as well.
I have officially suspended all curmudgeonly thoughts for this fine day.
Happy holidays, good friends.
The Dark Wraith will revert to grunts and grrs tomorrow.
"...and when nightfall returns..."
I shall remember Gibran's words:
"Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance."
I will slice off a yule log in your honor, Dark Wraith.
Happy Christmas and let's look forward to January 8th when those December retail numbers come in. Joy, joy.
Thank You Sir, and a happy Christmas to all. I'll bring by some leftovers later to share, assuming I get off my butt and go finish cooking :) We're doing an experimental sausage/acorn squash/potato and rosemary stuffing...I did a sausage/pumpkin at Thanksgiving that was quite yummy.
What a wonderful gift. Peace to you, and everyone visiting here.
As I count my blessings, I shall now include the fact that I still like pork products, assuming Wild Clover's many leftovers , after having to finish off that punkin-shaped sausage. Whew!
Did you carve a face on it? Now that woulda been cool!
Thank goodness Christmas is about over: this thread is starting to turn a little weird.
The Dark Wraith tries to run a non-weird Website, here, y'know.
I heard the bells on Christmas Day
Their old, familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men.
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Happy holidays, Darkest One.
"Fröliche Weihnachten!" (Okay, okay, Happy Feast of Stephen!)
The light grows from here.
For awhile anyway!
Happy Solstice, Sir Wraith & associates.
let's have a little hope for the coming year, i think that is the only thing left in the box.
