Lieberman Endorses McCain for President
The Dark Wraith will refrain from descriptions of what fates befell wanton traitors of earlier eras.

Oh, geez....and deprive me of grist for my Monday morning-news-remedial-fantasy? Shucks, Wraith.
Now I must rifle my memory to do it all by myself!
Wrote Dusty:
Holy Joe has been a DINO for decades hasn't he? This news shouldn't come as a surprise then.
There was at time when I entertained the idea of supporting McCain acouple of election cycles ago...but then..I laid down took a nap and saw the error of my ways.
Great graphic Dark Wraith!

The Dark Wraith does love to play with religious themes in his artwork.
Wrote Weaseldog:
I liked McCain for a while, then either I regained my sanity or he suffered brain damage from an unidentified condition.
I believe he is going senile.
Wrote Weaseldog:
Oh, and Lieberman is just a tall arsecicle.
Wrote zipperhead:
religious themes? don't you mean esoteric?
Is mephistopheles slowly fading more clearly into view?
My first look at the image and all I saw were the two human ghouls. When I looked back later I noticed the 'shadow', but he seemed fainter than he does now. Now he is very distinct.
Are my eyes playing tricks, DW? Or are you tweaking the image a little?
Or is this just an example of one perceiving more readily that which one has seen or experienced before, while tending to miss the unexpected. I believe there is a specific term for the phenomena, but I don't recall it.
Anyway, it really doesn't matter which particular puppet takes the slot. Mephistopheles, or whatever the name may be, will continue to provide the guiding 'inspiration'.

Hey, why don't you guys lay off ol' Joe, huh? Damn, he's just trying to do what he thinks is best for his country.
Too bad he's dragging the US in to help.
Wrote Dark Wraith:
Just like his country of true allegiance does to the United States.

Good evening, zipperhead.
I almost always find myself doing a few minor alterations after publication, but I did nothing to the relative opacities of the figures.
What's weird is that several people have sent me e-mail messages asking me the same thing you're asking. The explanation, of course, has to do with perception: once something is seen, even if it is subtle, it becomes ever more obvious with repeated observations.
This is very important when it comes to enlightening people about the complete madness of the Bush Adminstration: once it finally dawns on a person that this President and everyone around him is completely outside the bounds of what is normal, usual, and expected, the newly aware observer will begin to see more and more for himself or herself.
I have seen this process unfolding recently in more than a few people, who now speak or write to me about this or that "new" thing they've found out about how corrupt, venal, and criminal Bush and his gang are. On the one hand, I would like to say, "Duh?" but that's unhelpful in the worst way because it can slow down or stop the process of self-enlightenment through which they are going.
It's also unhelpful to simply dump information at them.
Sometimes, people really can figure things out for themselves. It's just a matter of first seeing what was formerly just blackness for what it really has hiding in it.
Hiding in plain sight, that is.
The Dark Wraith does like to have folks appreciate his art work.

I was gonna rip ya on that dreadful joke on the sidebar, but Joseph Lieberman's quest for the US to move to Israel...well the Armed Forces anyway, has soured me to anything being remotely funny about the fucker. For Christ's sake, here's a guy seeing the destruction of the very fabric of our country's strength, and, unlike untold thousands who've seen the light and determined the stench is more than even they can bear, he decides that, you know what, I wanna be a scumbag Republican, too! I know of only one other in his position; David Horowitz...a man I fervently pray will one day get lambasted with a left hook by a lefty lineman playing for the school, just after taking his steroids! Now THAT would make me laugh.

nice pic indeed dw...
i think a mccain/lieberman ticket might unite the country against the republicans and further fracture the republican party. mccain is after all the guy who chose party loyalty above his family and his country, and joe chose, well, about the same. but it wasn't even loyalty to his own party.
and a big hoorah for chris dodd!!!!!

The only way for me to wrap my meager thought processes around how thoroughly McCain 180'd and allowed the right to slam it home without lube to him and his, is to believe that Johnny wants to get his gun back, and winning the presidency in '08 would be his best shot. Once in office, goes his thinking, he'll show those slanderous bastards what true retribution in mass quantities looks like, up close and personal. After sending all of the 'axis of evil' in this admin to prison, the Dems would find his administration quite ready to work to rinse the bad taste of Republicans from the collective palate. World Peace would not only become possible since he broke up the Halliburton den of thieves, but probable since he pulled us out of the World Bank and the IMF! Oh happy happy, joy joy, Ren!
This has been a work of satire. Please adjust your mirrors accordingly.

Good afternoon everyone,
DW I must say I feel your pain about the snow plowing bs. It's one of the reasons I live in warmer climes..I do not miss the mess of winter one iota.

Trog69,
Don't forget Bloody Billy Kristol!
Wrote trog69:
Mornin' Weaseldog.
You reminded me that I hadn't checked out the Weekly Stoning...oops, Standard, in a while. Seems Kristol and Kagen, two of the three K's, are looking for scissors 'cause they can't unbunch their panties by hand anymore. The reason: Petraeus was not Times Man of the Year, going instead t0 Putin. They do observe that Lieberman remarked that Petraeus was robbed. I won't pretend to understand why they would want their Military Hero placed on the same pedestal that enshrined Stalin...TWICE! Nothing yet on McCain, but then again, why bother when Giuliani has the Weekly's greatest hits all under his umbrella of "Daddy's Home" Governance.

Good evening to all, especially Trog ;)
Since you sir, got the last say on the post below this one, I must get a word in on this one.
The yahoo's on the right side of the aisle really don't care what the rest of the world thinks about anything. The PNAC crowd have God and Money on their side and frankly thats all they think they need.
Sadly, they are spot on more times than not about the money crowd helping them sucker-punch everyone that resides below the top one percenter's. They mock us and get a hearty laugh at our expense.
Where is their Karma Mr Trog? ;p
Wrote trog69:
Money, yes. God, I dunno. Looks like the lil' thumpers might just come around to Huckabee if they see this "surge" continue, and he's sounding very anti-establishment right now.
The chameleon? It left with Boy George's career...why do you ask? Heh heheeeeee!

Dusty, where are you, car 54? I don't wanna get pointed at during the next Koffee Klatch as the Last Word Turd!
