Digital Landscape 1
This is a completely digital rendering of what I saw in my mind's eye. This place does not exist (to my knowledge) in the real universe. Art is wonderful that way.
For those with a hefty download speed and a good monitor, the full-sized graphic, at 1900 x 900 pixels and 600 dpi, can be seen by clicking here.
Anyway, I thought it would be nice to share the product of my ill-spent evening while taking a decent stab at pointing out the nonsense of that "left brain/right brain" myth.
The Dark Wraith hopes the audience enjoys the pretty picture.
Dark Wraith Photography Portfolio One
Once the gallery window opens, the slideshow will run automatically.
As noted in a small display of photographs I published recently at Big Brass Blog, the pictures were all taken with an AF-S Nikkor DX 18-135mm ED-IS f3.5-5.4 lens mounted on a Nikon D60 I cobbled together from parts purchased on eBay, Craigslist, and photography forums. Scaling and minor touch-ups on the photographs were done in Adobe Photoshop CS4. The gallery you will see was created in Fireworks CS4.
The cats in the first three photographs were not paid union scale wages because they were (are you ready for this?) wildcatters. The flowers and other plants in my photographs were not paid anything, but I did express sincere gratitude and spoke favorably of their intelligence relative to Republican politicians.
If you like the gallery, say so, and I shall do more of them in the future.
The Dark Wraith awaits any accolades that might be forthcoming.
