Special Announcement: The Dark Wraith Forums Moves

At some point tonight or early tomorrow morning, The Dark Wraith Forums will be moving to its new, private Web host, LivingDot.com. For a few hours during the move, visitors may notice strange things happening: graphics may not appear as they should; formatting may be disrupted; and small, menacing demons may try to lunge out of your computer monitor to suck your soul into oblivion.

None of these occurrences are permanent, and they should not concern you in the least. All will return to normal at the end of the transition; and The Dark Wraith Forums will be safely off the Blogger servers, which have been taken over by those demons that might be trying to leap out of cyberspace at your computer workstation tonight.

Once the blog has been fully moved, you should notice few changes other than improved functionality. The Blogger commenting interface will still be used. Should that prove to be as much of an impediment to functionality as the Blogger servers, then it, too will be dumped; but that is not very likely, since it has been the overload on Google's servers that has apparently been the source of the many and escalating frustrations of late.

The URL (that's the technical name for the "Web address") of The Dark Wraith Forums will change, but the blog will still be accessible from dark-wraith.blogspot.com. This old Web address will be a page that will do a re-direct to the actual URL, which will be as follows:

dark-wraith.com
Once the transition is complete, you should delete the old bookmark (dark-wraith.blogspot.com) and make a new bookmark at the new site (dark-wraith.com), since this will save you the time of the re-direct from blogspot.

And, to quote Lowly Red Stater from another thread, "Buck Flogger." To which I might add: "dot com."

Yes, the good times may be near here on The Dark Wraith Forums... unless, of course, something goes terribly wrong during this move. That could happen. Let us hope that everything goes smoothly, nearly perfectly, and without any glitches.

In other words, let us hope for a miracle.
